Went out after 3 weeks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 3 weeks ago for my Mom and the ice maker went out first and then the freezer and refrigerator both stopped cooling. Called warranty and it will be a week before technician can come look at it. In the mean time we emptied the contents and unplugged the refrigerator to let defrost. Plugged it back in and is working for now. Not sure if it will go out again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

But only have had this model a month so far and it so far is working well.

Could have been better designed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and am somewhat disappointed in the changes from the previous identical model I purchased 10 years ago. My old whirlpool refrigerator was very quiet when running, this one hums and is annoying. My old one had the interior shelves adjustable, this does not and giving the top shelf the most height space is not good, in that placing tall items which are usually heavy, unsafe for removing and returning. The water drips after it shuts off and does not hit the catch tray, making it run down the outside of the refrigerator door. It does cool and freeze at the correct temperatures.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
