Perfect for small space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned it for 5 months now, and it’s better in many ways than I thought. I was afraid it would be too small for a family of 5, but it has deeper storage than my last one. Many reviews had the same issue: needing a refrigerator that fit in a small space with an existing cabinet above. Very few manufacturers make this size, so choice was limited. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

POOR DESIGN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] POOR DESIGN MILK WON'T FIT ON TOP GLASS SHELF MUST REMOVE GLASS SHELF IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO STORE MILK ON THE DOOR, WHICH IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. GLASS SHELVES ARE NOT ADJUSTABLE. POOR DESIGN WATER DISPENSING NOZZLE EVEN WITH LEDGE ON FRONT OF FREEZER DOOR AND WHEN YOU GET A DRIP IT WILL DRIP ON DOOR LEDGE THEN RUN DOWN DOOR. POOR DESIGN THERE IS NO RE-MOVEABLE WATER ,ICE DISPENSER TRAY. POOR DESIGN FRONT FREEZER SIDE FOOT OPEN AREA. POOR DESIGN A PIECE OF CARDBOARD UNDER THE REFRIGERATOR SECTION UNDER COILS SAGGING ON FLOOR. POOR DESIGN HAVE TO REMOVE ICE BIN TO PUSH THE BUTTON ON OR OFF FOR ICE MAKER. THE REFRIGERATOR IS UP AND RUNNING SO I WILL KEEP MY FINGERS CROSSED IT WILL LAST AWHILE. I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT UNLESS THERE IS A NEW DESIGN TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES. WHIRLPOOL SHOULD REALLY CONSIDER MAKING MORE OF THE SMALLER SIZE REFRIGERATORS FOR PEOPLE THAT DO NOT HAVE THE SPACE FOR THE LARGER ONES AND FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE HOUSEHOLD. ON MANY REVIEWS FOR THIS REFRIGERATOR THAT IS THE ONLY REASON THEY PURCHASED IT WAS THE SIZE NOT THE QUALITY. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I PURCHASED IT. FRIGERATOR NEEDS MAKE OVER!

So-so Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this refrigerator for a few weeks now. The only reason I chose this refrigerator was because it had the largest capacity I could find that was short enough to fit in our existing opening. It’s a newer and cheaper version of our old refrigerator, so I knew it would fit the space. I read all of the reviews, so I knew what to expect, and the refrigerator has met my lowered expectations.
Pros:
- Fits into my existing 67” high cabinet opening.
- A gallon milk jug just barely fits on the top shelf, with 1/4” to spare.
- The freezer keeps everything very frozen.
- We didn’t connect the water/ice maker, so we buy ice, and use the dispenser, which works fine.
- Even though the shelves don’t adjust, the spacing has worked okay for us.
- The stainless steel finish looks nice.
- Some reviewers have said that their refrigerator is noisy, but our refrigerator is quiet, maybe because we don’t have the ice machine connected.

Cons:
- The shelves don’t adjust, which could be frustrating for some buyers. Since some of the shelves don’t have a lot of height, it’s impossible to reach an item in the back without pulling out everything in front of it. I purchased some clear refrigerator bins that I’m hoping will help with this problem.
- The LED lights are in the back of the refrigerator, so items are in silhouette, and items toward the front are in dim light.
- The refrigerator door swings open so fast that it bangs into the adjacent wall. I’m concerned that we’ll eventually have a dent in the surface of the door. The only way to prevent the door from swing wildly is to hold it, either by the handle or my foot. I don’t know if there’s a solution to prevent this from happening.
- The shelves don’t adjust, which could be frustrating for some buyers. LOVE IT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is excellent! My old one only put out ice when it wanted to, but it was 20 years old. Now I get ice every time I push the lever!!! And since it's a Whirlpool, I'm sure, it will last 20 years also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a side by side with water and ice dispenser in the door, which is the best feature. However, the water dispenser should be a little more recessed so that drips stay in the tray rather than down the outside door. Ice dispenser for crushed ice comes out too forcefully and pieces go on the floor. Cubes work much better. There are no adjustable shelves, though there are plenty in the refrigerator side, and the door shelves are adjustable. Freezer is very small. Another recessed shelf on the top would be helpful. Very quiet except when making ice, of course.
