My new side by side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this model about 3 weeks ago and it sprung an internal leak behind the water filter assembly.... I was not happy having to mop up and dry out my carpeting. My retailer was quick to replace the defective refrigerator 5 days later. I'm guessing there was damage in the shipping/delivery process.
This is basically the only style and size refrigerator that we could fit in our allotted space and it replaced an older but similar model from Whirlpool. We were disappointed with a couple of features that changed in the new model:
The automatic ice maker has been supersized which was totally unnecessary for this size refrigerator and now takes up additional valuable space in the freezer compartment whereas it was previously located in the freezer door. In addition, the fixed positioning of the shelving requires a little more creativity when it comes to storing larger items. Lastly, it is hard to see the location of the water dispenser in the dark as the activator button is above the lighted area....turn on the kitchen light first. We chose the stainless finish in lieu of the white which we found to be an improvement.

Very poor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love whirlpool appliances, we purchased this refrigerator December 15,2023 and it is February14,2024 it has broken down. We are waiting on parts for it to be fixed, as of today March 1, 2024 waiting for repairs.. repair service supposed to be here on Monday on March 4, 2024 hoping they can fix the problem, but as of right now, I am very very dissatisfied with this product..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Workable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I wanted was no longer available. I wanted a 2 doors and a freezer door made by Whirlpool. They are now all 36" wide. So we decided to go with the side by side. Do not like the 9" wide freezer, but I do have a deep freezer so I can make that work. I do like the wider frig space! Makes the narrow freezer workable. It runs quiet and I like that.

Wobbly refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is smaller than I anticipated. The freezer compartment is only wide enough for a single TV dinner. I wish the installers would have leveled my refrigerator. It's very wobbly.
