Huge disappointment

Arrived last week. Horrible mistake. While it may look nice on the outside, it is a huge disappointment. Noisy. Constant loud hum and whiny drill sound. Much less space than the Kenmore Elite it replaced. The ice maker takes up 1/4 of the freezer space. You have to keep heavy items like milk in the door shelves. Unfortunately, we could not find one on display before ordering. Watch out. Especially take note of it being noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Refrigerator/Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 2 weeks ago. It is small, so there's obviously limited space. Although the product detail said the refrigerator shelves were adjustable, they are not. They are removable but not adjustable. The bins on the door are adjustable, however. These bins are plastic and I'm not sure how they will hold up over time. The ice maker works pretty well. I read reviews from others saying it was noisy, but I find it no worse than any other ice maker I've had. The freezer is REALLY narrow; I think the shelves are only about 9.5 inches wide. Organization is key in the freezer. Overall, so far, this refrigerator is working well. If I had the space, though, I would definitely get a larger unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge came with the new house. We would never buy something like it. There is barely any space on the freezer! You can even store a frozen pizza on a flat position.

Love our side-by-side refrigerator/freezer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this refrigerator in January 2024 as a replacement for the same model refrigerator that we received in October 2023 that had a defective door seal. Whirlpool allowed us to keep the original refrigerator until we received the replacement. We are grateful for that, as being without a refrigerator for three months would not have been good! We like this side-by-side refrigerator because it gives easy access to food in both the refrigerator and freezer sides. The shelves store items all the way to their edges, which increases available storage space. We also like the removable storage rack for aluminum drink cans on the inside of the refrigerator door that frees space on the shelves. And the on-door features of water and ice dispensers, refrigerator and freezer temperature controls, ice type (cube or crushed), door lock, light, and water filter reset are easy to use. Although it does not have all of the fancy features that many recent refrigerators have, it meets our everyday needs for a much more reasonable price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the look, design needs tweaking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I’ve only had this fridge for a couple weeks, I’m not digging the ice and water dispensers. Wish they were separate, like side by side. The water dispenser is right in front of the ice dispenser and I’ve hit the water when not needing water and going for ice only. Water also drips down the front of the fridge if you don’t wait for the very last drop, and even though there is a kind of well there to catch extra ice and water, it’s very shallow and should come with a catch all well that can be I like the overall look of the fridge, emptied and cleaned. Another problem with the water dispenser since it’s flush with the set panel, the space that pushes in for water is only big enough for a certain glass width, making it very difficult to get water with a bigger glass circumference. I also find the ice maker noisy when making ice. I’m also having trouble with the front right fridge door staying level/even with the freezer side, it isn’t lining up horizontally, like the top of the doors and tops of the handles. The fridge door is designed, or supposed to be designed to hold a lot of weight and according the images of what goes where. NTM the only place some things can go since the selves are at a set height and not adjustable. I like the overall look of the fridge, and like most things we adjust to some of their inconveniences, NTM it’s a huge hassle to return large appliances, so I’ll learn to deal. Definitely have to get the doors lined up properly asap.
