Live the design

Beautiful looking, but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator two months ago. It replaces a similar 20 year old Whirlpool model we had that fits in the space we have in the kitchen.
I love the stainless steel exterior and how easy it is to keep clean. Except for all the bits of plastic that stick out from the original protective wrap that was on the refrigerator.
The refrigerator and freezer have functioned very well keeping food at correct temperatures.
The installation instructions were not clear for leveling the appliance. It seemed like the design was changed but the instructions were not.
I was disappointed in the interior lighting. The top light is blocked if you put your milk containers on the top shelf making the interior quite dark.
The shelves are NOT adjustable and my milk containers just barely fit on the top shelf.
The drawers and door shelves are very cheap plastic and could easily break.
The ice maker supposedly has a turn off capability when the bin is full, but we haven’t been able to figure out how it works so we turn the ice maker off if we are going away.
I am disappointed in some of the design aspects, especially as I have always thought that Whirlpool appliances were some of the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it. It is a no frills type but is beautiful in its simplicity. My only complaint is that the drawers(bottom 2) do not slide freely.

Nice refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm semi happy with my whirlpool refrigerator. The one thing I miss is that my old whirlpool refrigerator had is I could adjust the shelves. So I lost a shelf with the new one. Also on the old fridge the water and ice were side by side new fridge the ice is in the back and water is in the front so you have to be careful not to hit the water when your getting ice or you'll have water everywhere.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer is too small. The water dispenser and ice maker take up a lot of room. In the refrigerator unable to adjust any shelves. Need to make due. Really had to take what was there because of outside measurements.
