This refrigerator is extremely loud with a humming sound when the compressor is on. I have never had a fridge so loud. This will be the last whirlpool product I ever purchase. I have been a loyal. Ustoner to whirlpool for my 40 years of marriage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great refrigerator
