Two years old and stopped working

Electrical problems with a new microwave

I bought a home ten months ago that had a new Frigidaire Gallery 1.5 Cu. Ft. Over-The-Range microwave along with the oven. It worked fine until now, but not anymore because it trips the fuse every time I try to use it. I suspect the microwave is not under warranty, but a microwave that goes bad in around one year usage does not speak well for the brand quality. What could be the problem and what are my options? thank you.

Broken in few months

We purchased it in march 2018 and it was broken in January 2019. We just keep repairing git since then. it remains broken most of the time now. we wasted our money on this poor appliance.

garbage. All that money for garbage

Garbage . Trips breaker after 1 year. Will never buy frigidaire products again. My cheap microwave lasted 7 years.

flips breaker will not work

This was a purchase that I loved very expensive purchase. Has a major problem flips the breaker and I see many others are having this issue. I'm glad it didn't burn my house down but it is a possibility.

Poor quality parts

Microwave door switch broke 7 months into owning the product and 2+ months later they still don't have the parts to fix it. Door strike also shows significant wear after less than a year of use due to cheaply made parts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So disappointing! Would be a zero.

We purchased the Frigidaire professional suite of appliances when we built our home three years ago. When the microwave was installed, the door did not line up, but the service person said the factory assured him it was okay. Right after the warranty had expired, the microwave started blowing a fuse every time it was turned on. The appliance company was nice enough to pay for repairs. Within another year, same thing. The company would no longer pay for repairs. We called the same repair company, and a service person came out to our home. After investigating, he said it would cost more more to have it fixed than it was worth. He then advised us to never buy Frigidaire again. We agree. So disappointing.

Failed twice in 13 months

This model was installed in a new home. Liked it, but after 4 months it stopped working. Fixed under warranty by service call and install of a new internal part. Now it has failed again, 13 months after initial install. That's past the builder's warranty of 12 months. Disappointing.
