Pathetic - would have given a lower rating if possible

This microwave was provided to us as a part of the house. Looks great. Performs well when it works. It broke down three times under warranty - each time losing either the fuse or the switch tripping up the breaker. Just out of warranty, it broke down again for good. The service repair man who came over during warranty period mentioned that the change in design of the door was impacting impacting quality as he was seeing the same problem in a large number of service calls. I agree - most of the folks in my neighborhood with the same model have replaced this due to issues. I am now searching and hope Frigidaire trashes such unreliable models.

Breaker tripping!!!!

We bought our microwave/convection over on 4/11/19. Less than 2 years later it began tripping the breaker randomly and now anytime we plug it in. This is way too expensive to only last less than 2 years.

Electrical Problem

We upgraded our appliances when we purchased our newly built home in August of 2018. Now, just 3 years later, the microwave causes the breaker to trip. We plugged it in a different circuit, and the same issue is happening. In reading reviews here, it seems to be a common issue with this Microwave. I'd like to get Frigidaire to match everything else, but will be avoiding this model, as I need it to last longer than 3 years.

Great features but...

Gallery Convection Microwave

Bought this Gallery Convection Microwave in February of 2019 along with the matching refrigerator, dishwasher, and range. I opened the door on the microwave and it flashed and stopped working. Had a repairman look at it and he replaced a fuse which again blew when you opened the door. It is truly an electrical problem with this microwave and we were told it wasn’t worth fixing. After reading the reviews on this I believe Frigidaire has a problem with this model they are not addressing. The repairman also said the ground wire was very close to the fuse and it’s possible it touched and shorted everything out.

Trips Breaker - So Disappointed

We bought this microwave in April 2019 along with the matching refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. Beautiful to look at but the microwave keeps kicking the breaker and now it will not even come back on. We replaced the fuse but it still kicks any breaker we plug it in to. We can't get anyone to repair it unless we pay an arm and a leg for someone to come look at it. Don't know what else to do except buy another one but not a Frigidaire. Sad, it won't match our other appliances.

Dead at 2.5 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit to match our GALLERY REFRIGERATOR. Our previous microwave lasted 22 years with no problems. The only reason to replace it was to update our kitchen. This NEW Frigidaire microwave blows the circuit breaker every time we try to use it. Other owners are having the same problem. We are very upset with this product!
