[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The convection on the microwave (FGMV155CTD) works great for warming pastries or buns. I personally felt the door was hard to open. The micro is only 900 w that is less wattage than my previous microwave so it takes some time getting used to it. I felt the directions on the micro as well as in the book were very confusing. Also, I didn't like having an extra rack to put a second dinner on. I always just stacked my dinners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks futuristic but it's not powerful in watts. Popcorn option doesn't pop all kernels. Major disappointment. It's just pull to open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New User to Frigidaire, I am dismayed to hear of your disappointment in your microwave oven’s popcorn cooking operation. Each consumer may choose from a wide variety of appliances, each built to provide a quality product and various features to best suit their needs and price point. Quality tests are continually conducted to provide (you) the consumer with the best appliance possible in the industry. The Popcorn quick touch pad lets you pop 3.3, 3.0, and 1.75 ounce bags of commercially packaged microwave popcorn (page 15 in your Owner’s Manual). Please ensure you are choosing the correct size selection, and that the popcorn bag is at room temperature. Pop only one package at a time. If you are using a microwave popcorn popper, follow manufacturer's instructions. The unfortunate truth is that popcorn is a notoriously poor candidate for microwaving, because of the kernels` small size and relative lack of moisture. You may almost always have leftover kernels when you finish popping. This is normal. Should you have any questions, please reconnect with us directly for assistance. It didn't seem to heat things as quickly as our old one but after using it a couple of days, it actually seems to be heating faster than our old one did. I love that it is over our stove top and has the light and exhaust fan. I haven't used the convection feature yet but I thought it would be great for doing a few cookies. It goes beautifully with our other appliances and looks great in out new kitchen.
