"Finally Got It Right?"

Purchased first Electrolux EI23BC...two years ago. Had nothing but problems...fortunately, we had an extended warranty. After two years, Electrolux representative advised that the source of all our trouble was a non-repairable problem (engineering design issue) and agreed to replace the refrigerator at no cost. New unit (w/many design changes) worked great for three weeks. Then, while the freezer compartment remained at zero degrees, the frig compartment would not go below 56 degrees (default is 37 degrees). Independent service technician found the problem...entire lower cooling unit was covered with 2+ inches of ice because: THE DEFROST HEATER UNIT HAD NOT BEEN PLUGGED INTO ITS POWER SOURCE WHEN THE REFRIGERATOR WAS ASSEMBLED. The refrigerator has now been working 30+ days without an issue. We're hoping Electrolux...finally got it right! (To Electrolux's credit, it's Customer Support staff did everything it could to make things right and where excellent to deal with.) Despite our problems, we'd buy Electrolux products again (our 2+ year old dishwasher has been tremendous)!

after several frustrating years of fighting with the previous unit due to ice cube maker problems and having the repairman as our guest on numerous occasions, it is very rewarding to be able to hear the ice maker operate! my wife loves the internal features of the unit and actually enjoys keeping the quality stainless steel shining! it is also very handy for storing left-overs from the many take-out meals we seem to buy! after spending mucho $$ on remodeling kitchen we now seem to eat out more
!

refrigerator is near perfect. spacious with plenty of (LED) light. only negative - water dispenser is a little awkward to use and tends to drip.

Works like a dream

My refrigerator is about 3 weeks old and I just love it. The dual ice makers feature is wonderful for parties. Ice makers work great. The glass shelves and lighting makes the inside look like an advertisement photo! I like the new type of shelves and how they can be adjusted. I also like the top shelve of the freezer - for "less freeze". Perfect for ice cream - I can finally scoop it as soon as I take it out of the freezer!
