This refrigerator has been an absolute nightmare. The ice maker has never worked from day 1. We've replaced the water filter, and checked the water pressure countless times. We have also replaced the refrigerator entirely 3 times. We've become entirely too familiar with the repair men that have been here. We were under the impression that this refrigerator was an "elite" machine, but the fact is, is that it's poorly designed, and it has been nothing but a burden and a money pit. I would never recommend this to anyone... not even my worst enemy!

Wonderful fridge

This is a great fridge. Room for everything and even lots of space in the freezer. It is the best fridge we have had and we have owned 8 different brands so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality fridge

My husband and I bought our first electrolux fridge a couple of years ago and are now on our third one. I have to say it is a beautiful unit but the ice maker is a nightmare. We have had nothing but problems with all three units. from not making ice to it sounding like a mack truck in the kitchen. Between the three units we have had about 20 service calls with multiples issues including the water filter. Personally we feel that the ice maker in a french style door is not a good idea and definitely has to be perfected.

ICE CUBES ONLY CRUSHED ICE.

Disappointing

After buying my first house, I went to my local trusted appliance dealer to buy a refrigerator from another brand, based on reviews from Consumer Reports magazine. My family has bought all our appliances for our homes and rental properties from this dealer for 40+ years. He told me that the Electrolux was a much better value in terms of what I got for the money. My refrigerator has had nothing but unresolved issues since it was delivered. Issue include inconsistent temperature, poor temperature control, molding cracked, seal around door torn, rattling when the compressor turns on. The warranty service provider started charging for service calls after the 2nd trip. Repairs were never correct. If I could rate this product with zero stars, I would.

Looks good and everything works well. The double Ice maker is a big plus. The only drawback are the shelves. They are curved at the edges to hold in any spills, a good thing, but it reduces the Usable surface area.

In the process of cleaning my Electrolux EI23BC65KS Fridge, I removed the bottom freezer bin to clean under it. It came out very easily as instructed by the owner's book, but upon putting it back in, I tried all day but could not put it back. Rather than damage the unit, I called you for service. The Tech was knowledgeable, efficient and the problem was solved in just a few minutes. I love my fridge and now it's perfect again.

Everything works, except on occasion moisture invades the freezer section and water crystalizes on packages.
