21st Century Technology

Finally, there is a refrigerator that fits the bill for a family. This counter-depth French door refrigerator freezer with IQ controls has brought my family into the 21st century. It is roomy inside and the movable shelves fit all our needs. The water & ice come out perfectly and is a great addition to any home. The refrigerator's sleek design will fit difficult spots. The many drawers store needed fruits, vegetables and cheeses. The spacious pull-out freezer is a wonderful size to have to store the many types of frozen foods you have

Electrolux pair

I bought this refrigerator because it was less deep than most counter depth models of other manufacturers. The room inside and the split between the freezer and cold compartment was also superior for our current lifestyle-barely need the freezer. There is a nice full width cold compartment drawer and 2 crispers. I stayed away from another refrigerator with 3 crispers in a row as each drawer was then too small. My decision was based on size and functionality as you can tell. Would prefer that one wouldn't have to select between water and ice through the door. There are 2 different dispensers. It would be better to select between crushed and cubed ice and make water available 100% of the time. Also, would like to see some choices on the brightness of the water dispenser light instead of the other controls. And the side of the box is gray, while the Electrolux range is black. A few inches of stainless to match the front of both appliances would not accentuate that the appliances are not built-in.

Love It

This is really a very nice appliance. In years past I have always had a larger refrigerator and I was not sure if in fact that this model would be large enough for our use. It is! We get many compliments from our company too. I am very impressed with this line of appliances. I have never had Electrolux prior to our remodeling our kitchen. Now everything in the kitchen is Electrolux including refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher. There is just no way a woman can have different brands of appliances in her kitchen. It is just not acceptable!

Solid Selection.

I purchased this refrigerator approximately 1 year ago. I have not had any mechanical issues at all. I selected this refrigerator because the drawers and storage options were well made and did not feel cheap as other similar units of other manufacturers did.

Generally, we are quite happy with the refrigerator with one exception. Anything put in the freezer compartment gets coated with a layer of frost almost immediately. Thereafter, frost continues to build. Among other things, this means we have to rinse off anything we remove from the freezer after a day or two. I don't understand why this frig was designed this way as we have never had this problem on all the previous refrigerators we have owned.
