Very quiet and we love the soft start lighting!

We bought our Electrolux fridge in June 2015 and it's been the best fridge we've owned to date (which is 6ish other brands). This fridge is quiet (ice maker does make noise when it cycles but we quickly got used to it) and it simply looks smashing in our kitchen... it has a very polished, professional look to it... makes the room look 'smart'!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth it

Have had major problems with the ice maker. 2 dif companies and 5 weeks later till they fixed it. It still makes weird noises, from time to time. Very dissappointed with this refrigerator.

I have had my ice maker on the top fixed twice since April, and sometimes it still takes pushing a couple of times to get the ice to come out on the door. When it is making the ice sometimes it makes loud clicking sounds for several seconds.

To many problems

Doors are not straight and cant be fixed per Sears, fridge scraped the floor on install and we are still waiting to resolve that. Lights fail from time to time. Water filter freezes and we have to remove to heat up to get water ?

No luck with electroluxe

The shelves in the refrigerator are poorly designed. It is difficult to move them as the door shelves and the refrigerator shelves block each other if the are at the same levels. Some of the door shelves are not moveable so it is difficult to get a shelf large enough for a large item.
When I initially got the refrigerator the water dispenser was not working. Both my contractor and I removed the filter and reinstalled itseveral times but it still would not dispense water. The repair man who came out was very rude and said I was not properly installing the filter. ( the filter was not installed when he arrived.) he did take the refrigerator apart and after that the water dispencer worked. When I asked him to explain how to properly install the filter he said it wasn't his job to deal with filters.this is not my first refrigerator with a filter and if it this one is so difficult to install correctly either there should be detailed instructions or the repair person should be courteous enough to explain what the problem is.
The refrigerator is working well now and I have adjusted to the arrangement of the shelves.

worst icemake ever

Bought this in 2009 because we wanted counter depth and crushed ice.. Lovely look, refrigerator and freezer fine, but we are about to have our 7th service call (more than 1 a year) on the ice maker which stopped making ice again and after 5 years is way out of warrantee. If it doesn't fix this time we're going to donate it to a local charity and buy a new refrigerator. We've had an Amana that lasted 20 years and 2 current Whirlpools, which are flawless. Enough said.

Water dispenser drips and freezer doesn't seal.

16 months old. Water dispenser drips after using it. Frost on the freezer drawer gasket and the over temp alarm has gone off several times.

Disappointed

We needed repair of the freezer unit in less than six months. Not sure if it is totally repaired. Thermometer on the bottom shelf in the back of the refrigerator reads 45 when set on 37. We will need another repair call.
