Poor Suction

I bought this and just received it in the mail. My husband and I were really excited to get it out the box. We had a roomba 850 but we wanted something slimmer that could get under chairs, cabinets, etc. without getting stuck like the roomba did. The slim Deebot gets under things with ease, few occasions it gets stuck under things. Our main issue with this Deebot is that It doesn't pick up much of anything, even our pet hair. We have a Yorkie (doesn't shed) and a medium short haired hound mix. I dont know if we got a defective one and thats the reason for the lack of suction.
