[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago as an entry into robo vacs. It's been great. I thought, if this one is this good, imagine what a higher-end Roomba will be like! So I got one of those. Time after time my Deebot out performs the Roomba 960. Deebot packs dirt into it's bin where Roomba gives false "bin full" regularly. Deebot is smarter about it's charger where the Roomba will alert saying it needs help about twice a month. Deebot has needed help once. There have been a lot of examples like this over time. I considered returning the Roomba for another Deebot. I might still. The Deebot is fantastic though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start with “I LOVE THIS DEEBOT”! Now first off, don’t expect this thing to pick up screws, things that lay flat on the ground without a lip underneath like a penny or a flat piece of paper wider than the opening (although sometimes you get lucky and it sucks it up). This thing is AMAZING as a regular floor sweeping vacuum, the amount of hair and dust and whatever else was on the living room floor completely blew my dad and I away after just 10 minutes of letting it roam around. Did my whole room with it, alternating between AUTO and the app remote, had a blast cleaning up lol. It navigates as if it were smarter than it is and even with something like an office chair, it makes its way around each leg and wheel diligently as if it knows you want it to pay attention to that spot. It can get confused if it enters an area with a small opening on one side so be wary of that. Also got the side brush tangled on some speaker wire, so definitely make sure all the wires in the area are secure or covered. This thing doesnt have a ton of suction, it wont pick up things that would normally need the force to like airsoft bbs or anything round and dense(havent tried peas or anything yet), wrappers (except if smaller than the opening), big clumps of hair (can clog the opening or just get stuck between the bumper and floor and get pushed around). The added mop pads really ensure a good thorough sweep (could almost pass a white glove test in some spots). The app works great and the remote on the app is more responsive and accurate than the physical remote it comes with. It takes a while for the unit to find the base, but it does find it and line itself up properly even with my complicated room layout. The features in the app work wonderfully and really make this thing a contender with more expensive models. ALEXA DOES WORK WITH THIS MODEL!
In short:
Great value, works amazingly for routine sweeping, app with scheduling and maintenance monitoring, around half the price of any similar vacuum, great for hairy and dusty floors due to mop function and brushless suction, works with Alexa!
not so great for heavy vacuuming (wont pick up EVERYthing). Can and WILL get stuck on chords and openings that it can “lodge” itself into, could possibly run out of battery before finally docking itself (could be user error with placement of the dock or the conditions, mine hasnt show that issue yet).

After doing a lot of research to find what I was looking for I went with the deebot mini2 and I have no complaints. I can use the app to schedule daily cleanings, it fits under all my furniture, and picks up everything off my floors. I recommend to anyone without carpet!
