I bought my Deebot on may 2, 2018. for first time i used it on the kitchen floor it was pushing the small stuff on the floor around it wasn't picking anything up, so I recharged it, it did the same thing. in my opinion it not a good vacuum cleaner.
I bought this on sale at BJ's thinking it would be a helpful addition in my household to run over basically tiled floors and remove pet hair. I have used a Roomba that is now nearly 5 years old and needed replacement. Sadly this Deebot Slim2 failed miserably in this task with it getting stuck trying to climb over a low pile rug within 1 minute of leaving the dock. Not only would it not climb over this very short rug, but it became stuck even trying.
I have been using this for a few months. I love the way it cleans the carpets especially. The only problem I have is that it seems to get stuck on the base of my kitchen table often. That is my only complaint.
This is my first robot vacuum. It gets the job done. I have 3 dogs and running it daily really helps keep the fur balls down. You definitely want to tie up any cords so it doesn't get tangled and pull things down. I wish there was a way to keep it in a "zone" or something, it can't do my whole house on 1 charge so the same areas get hit and others get missed unless I block it in a room. Still I think it's worth the cost!
I have two very fully cats and a dog that seems to never stop shedding. This little bot has changed my life. No more fighting with my husband as to who swept or used the vacuum last. I have it on times settings for 5am and 5pm, I wake up and the floors are clean, and I come home from work and they’re clean...I couldn’t be happier with it!
I bought this robot because I have huge sofa at home and no other robot can go underneath it also I wanted a mop with my robo. This is great as it can literally go under any surface, looks great and easy to set up. Here is some drawback though, 1) it get stuck alot under wire or even rug or kitchen mat and remain stuck. Some one needs to be watching this robo for cleaning to work. 2) there is no home button on robo so you either need remote or app to stop it. 3) it makes really bad noise when stuck. I shedule it to run during night but because of noise I have to get up all the time. 4) Mop is not great either, first time when I used it, it got stuck and can not move because mop was too wet and robo was slipping in it's own mop (funny)
Overall this is slim and can work if house has literally nothing and all hardwood floor.
It works great if you have animals. Only problem I’ve found is the frequency in which I have to empty the dust collector and how easily the brushes can get tangled. For the price it’s great. 8/10
