[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using the vacuum for about a month and it has great suction and rarely gets stuck. Great for wood floors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this model when my original purchase (Deebot Mini) was not working correctly. It was still vaccuming ok but coming on when I did not program it. The replacement model, Deebot Slim I have not experienced any issues. Except once in a while it gets stuck trying to get under my fridge. Most of the time it will work to free itself. Very quiet and a charged up unit will last 45-60 minutes. I like that it will return to its charger when the battery needs charging. You think your floor is clean, then you look in Deebot’s dust bin and wonder where did that come from?
I have slightly mixed feelings from that robot. It's pretty good as a cleaner. It can move under most pieces of furniture including such low that the floor there can't be reached with traditional means. It's good at removing dust and most small litter from hard flat surfaces - providing it's able to find it. And here is the bad part. Not too bad, mind you, as I'm mostly content with my purchase, but irritating at least.
The problem is, it's dumb. It cleans the surface by chaotically moving around. Sometimes it can continuously move in circles around one chair for a long time. Sometimes its programming urges it to move straight to another part of the room but when it hits it head about something (a bed leg or a wall, doesn't matter), it rotates and goes back to almost its old place. It's pretty hard for it to find a door and move to the entrance hall, not mentioning other rooms. However, if it manages to solve this task, it's guaranteed that it won't be able to find its way back to the charging station. You'll have to find it, sad, desperate and lifeless, somewhere under a bed and bring it back yourself. It's also practically blind. It can detect a human leg or a wall several centimeters away but it has to hit the furniture to notice it.
Another issue is its bluetooth management (a killer feature, judging by advertisements). If you're told by such an advertisement that you can control it with your phone, you have the right to expect that it's enough to install an app, point the phone towards the robot and press "Start" button. However, in practice, connecting it to your phone is a long and painful process (even for me, a professional sysadmin). It took me half an hour to do it. Instructions in the application were completely useless, I had to find an instruction on the support web site. You know what? You must have a home WiFi network to control the vacuum cleaner. And you must enter the password for the network in the app, or else you can't control the robot. No WiFi network? Don't want to share your password with who knows who? Go take a walk. But you won't find any warnings about it before you buy the device. And in the end, you get a very primitive application that doesn't worth the pain you got to make it working.
Summing up, it's a good device but be prepared that the reality is not so bright as the vendor promises.
I have only used it two times but I love it! I have old hard wood floors in my house and it is very quiet compared to my Roomba that I use on our first floor. It gets under my furniture with know problems.bI am looking forward to using the other features soon. Thank you DEEBET SLIM2!!!
Have been using the Deebot slim2 for a month or so. Good value for money. Generally does its job. Sometimes get stuck, but not a big issue. Suction could have been better. Often get to the corners, instead of cleaning the main open space, eventually the corners are more cleaner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is prone to getting stuck everywhere and getting trapped under dining room tables between the feet of the chairs. In also backs up against walls and pillars and lifts itself off the ground and get stuck there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am comparing DEEBOT SLIM2 with another (less expensive) DEEBOT model I had previously. Although SLIM2 appears to be more "advanced", it has critical design flaws that makes it much less useful!
The biggest design mistake is sloping shape of the front cover that makes the robot stuck every time it approaches furniture which is slightly lower than 5cm. I had to add some artificial barriers to prevent SLIM2 from stopping.
Another big problem is material of side brushes. They are made from weird cheap plastic that becomes deformed after leaving it docked for a few days. We didn't have such issue with the previous model!
And of course lack of horizontal sweeping brush is a big minus! If anything is stuck to the floor, such as tramped bread crumbs, SLIM2 is unable to pick them up.
