[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was skeptical at first but pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness and completeness of the R95’s abilities. i have three cats and hardwood floors so when it completed its initial mapping was shocked to see the cleanliness of the floor after. i haven’t used the mopping feature as of yet because i wanted to initially get a feel for its ability to just pick up the dirt/cat hair/etc.

Unable to really use the mop feature which is why I picked this vacuum over other brands, but the map does not want to stay/save and I cannot seem to select the hardwood areas to run the mop. But the vacuum part of this is awesome. Picks up dog/cat hair, grabs a lot of dust as well. I run it Monday - Friday and feel that my house stays cleaner and a bit less dusty. Also love that it goes underneath the beds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had never considered a robot vacuum until our old cleaner wouldn’t work on our new “premium soft carpet.” Literally, you couldn’t push it across the carpet. Cleaning is now a breeze with our R95, aptly named “Robbie.” Our house has never been cleaner; it’s so easy, we clean about every other day. With a shedding dog in the house, it’s amazing how much dog hair it picks up. And ECOVACS is far more advanced than any other on the market, with the app and the ability to set up boundaries, area and spot clean, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to love this, but we've had lot of problems. The first one just stopped working after a few months. The second one already seems to have similar problems. It has a hard time mapping, so we can't set up boundaries. It continually seems to reset itself. It also has a hard time finding the charger when the battery is low, so it'll die in somewhere in the house and we have to hunt for it. We put it back on the charger and then it totally restarts again. When it runs, it actually cleans well, but the software is super buggy. App is also not intuitive. Never got it to work with Alexa, which is one reason we purchased it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price is pretty ridiculous for what the hardware is.
I have had it a week now, and it has yet to be able to make a map of the area. Everytime it fails.
I have given it a daily program 4 times now, and it never remembers when to clean. This thing is suppesed to be wifi connected and get it's commands from software.
The software has a voice option, but I have never heard the vac say anything. When the Roomba has a problem is just says what the problem is. This just sits there in standby.
The main feature I bought this for was to empty it self. I thought that was working, but then I saw the lid pushing itself open. I go and check out what it is, and the vacuum bin is completely full. It has never empbitied itself once.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
