Stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and have maybe gotten 10 uses out of it. There have been multiple problems, the most recent being “my navigation system had stopped working.” The mapping feature would be cool except it periodically loses the map and if you have a room shut before your map is created there is no way to update it. I was really excited to get this product and did a lot of research before buying it and have been nothing but disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smart and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the R95 for over a month. Once I got the map created, I wss able to set up schedules and let it do it's thing.
Works great and I recommend it.
The only negative is that if it gets stuck, it may lose the map that was created and you have to set that all up again. I recommend the company provide a way to save the map to your phone, so you CA easily recover it with an upload.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this Deebot for a bit over a year. It has STILL not mapped my house, so advanced features like directing it to a specific location or blocking off areas does not work (for a couple of days I could use those features, then it decided it needed to remap and has never finished). It has ok suction when it decides to work, but it hardly ever decides to work. It has never been able to dock itself - I have to push it in to get it to start charging. And then, even though it tells me it is charging, most of the times it does not actually charge. So about 80% of the time I want to use it I cannot.
I had high hopes for this thing, but am sorely dissapointed. In case you are thinking I just got a bad apple, Ecovacs replaced my first Deebot due to a series of problems. The replacement was just as bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Vacuums Well When It Isn't Stuck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The R95 has incredible vacuuming capabilities but it continuously finds new ways to get stuck and can never figure out how to get out of its predicaments. I have literally spent days at a time waiting and watching it so I can add new boundaries to keep it from dying in its stuck location.
The WORSE part about it getting stuck is that by the time you get home at the end of the day, the battery has died because it's not smart enough to know it's stuck and leaves its navigation system running.
That's when the fun part of resetting the battery takes over. This process repeats at least once a month. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more reliable vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

More powerful than I thought

Been using it for close to a month. It vacuums very well, much better than I expected. Very smart Lil machine. I haven't used the mopping feature yet, but the automatic schedule, self mapping, auto docking for charging features are awesome.
I've found her 'stuck' a couple of times when I get home, one time because she rode on the slanted base of some barstools I have in the kitchen. The other 2 because I didn't pick up some larger objects which she sucked/brushed in and got stuck (my fault).
I've named her Robotina by the way. She listens more than my kid!

Great, if it always worked!

This is my second Deebot R95, after returning the first due to what I thought were software issues. I now suspect that the software issues are inherent in this unit. I thought they could update it and solve the problems, but they haven't. I returned the first one because it wouldn't keep its map. I have had to reset the new one's map once already because it lost it. And you can't use any advanced features until the map is complete. This thing will get stuck, then have no idea where it is. If I move it when getting it unstuck, even a little bit, it cannot continue on its auto cleaning because it doesn't know where it is. So I just tried to set up the virtual walls to keep it out of areas where it might get stuck when I am not around, but that feature is very hard to use. It always says I have to draw a wall inside the map, but the resolution isn't good enough to be very accurate. And you can't just drag the line for the wall to where you want it after it has been drawn, you only get one shot.
This unit has fantastic potential, but they have to fix the software glitches.
