Great Features

I love this a label maker! It's a good size to set on my desk and still be out of the way but convenient. Prints good and has a lot of borders, and fonts. I upgraded from a 20 year old brother P touch that still worked. Does lose one star because you can't use with your computer which is the way I would prefer to use.

Love the ease, templates and being connected to my phone. Wish it didn’t waste tape at the beginning and would still like to use a laptop connection as an option.

This label maker was easy to setup and works whenever I find something that needs a label. The Bluetooth connection to my iPhone works great and the app is easy to use.

Excellent Product, But ...

I am thrilled to be untethered from the classic tiny mechanical label maker keyboard. This device appears to be of very good build quality, but the mechanics will require some regular maintenance. Remember audio cassette decks ?; well the feed mechanism in this printer is very similar, and consequently, will require some occasional Q-tip & alcohol TLC. While there is no need to worry about oxide shedding & build-up, it will eventually get dirty. The options this printer affords are heads above the old mechanical label makers. I am very happy with my purchase. Time will tell just how sturdy the build is. I have used mine several times, and while there is a bit of a learning curve, I have no complaints. BTW, If you are wondering if it's OK to power this device w/the AC adaptor while the batteries are installed, it is. Just don't leave the batteries installed if storing it for long periods.

waists lots of tape.

Every label out of this machine has almost an inch of waisted tape. It also requires manual sissor cutting the waisted tape. If you love buying expensive label cartridges I highly recommend this printer.
