This model prints a great thin label but can’t accommodate tape cartridges wider than ~1/2”. Nice font choice, layout options, etc. I just wish I had noticed the limitations before I made the purchase.
Compact, light weight, well made, easy to use label maker with many features to create pleasing innovative labels at a superb price point. The label tape cartridges are easy in-out, and produce quality labels that stand up to water spills, and curl issues where they might come off. That is an important part of my 5 star rating, the excellent cartridges with color variations. I highly recommend the Brother P-Touch Cube.
This little label maker works great. The labels are clear and easy to attach. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I think it wastes too much tape. When I print, there is about 1.5" of blank tape before the text. Sometimes that is more than the label I am creating. I try to do more than one label at a time to minimize this waste, but sometimes I only need one label.
I like it but it has a drawback for me in that since I only use it intermittently, the bluetooth connection needs to be re-established. Usually easy, but it takes time. This one is in my office--when I replace the Epson which I have in the kitchen--which gets used a lot, I will get the model of this printer that also has a keyboard
It’s a radical new vision! Switching from a self contained unit to a keyboard less solution is scary. It gives a bit of heartburn when you have to but tooth link to it. I wish it was just on my network.
