Horribly slow and clunky software

Not sure what it is about the Mac application for Quickbooks online but its slow and unresponsive with the newest version on a fully specced MacBook Pro.

Quickbooks needs a calendar and scheduling app.

If you had a scheduling feature with an integrated calendar so you could schedule estimates before they became invoices I would give you five stars and tell all my friends.

Can only open 1 window

This started several months ago and basically makes the desktop app useless. When you click the "new window" button, it closes the current window and logs you out. We've switched to Safari which has it's own bugs like not displaying a full P&L report/cutting off the last few lines in the display.
Overall the actual SW is good for a small business. You think they could spare some resources to fix the app!

Constantly raising prices

Since we started with quickbooks online they have raised our prices. We are a 1 user company. But we have to have the most expensive package just to be able to code things properly. Our business is Mac based. They no longer make desktop for Macs so you have to go the online route. I've been a quickbooks user for 15 years. I've always recommended their products. I will no longer do that. I will also start shopping around for another service.

Slow. Clunky. Desktop version doesn't work.

Confusing, SLOW interface wastes so much time when trying to input or correct data. Tried using the desktop version but it keeps saying there's a problem connecting. Lost months of transactions because it couldn't connect to my bank – with no alert/email from Quickbooks that there was even a problem! Text is too light and thin, makes it hard to read. P+L reports are limited – you have to click to a different screen every time you want to get detailed information. I could go on and on with how difficult and how poorly designed this "professional" software is. Looking for an alternative to switch to.

Quickbooks crashes and makes me inefficent

Extremely inconsistent - there are frequent outages with connections to my banking institution and other errors. Customer support is horrendous - they troubleshoot with the playbook from 2000 on how to diagnose an issue with clearing cookies and cache, logging in and out, changing browsers and then after 15 minutes, they tell you "Oh this is a known issue". They never follow up to confirm an issue has been resolved and I feel like I am the Q&A department with a beta release of software. Errors and issues are abundant and then they litter your screen with advertisements for their other products. In short, Quickbooks stinks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

QB slows us down

I don't understand. QB is the goto financial software company. The receipt capture option is a pain in the booty. I used Expensify for a while and liked it, but did not want to use another app. Their software was able to read the receipt exceptionally well. It input the vendor and account used to make the purchase every time and 100% accurate. We have to enter the vendor and account used in QB every time. I suggest that you purchase their software or company and help us all out.
