What a great toaster!!!

We bought this specific toaster because of its design to handle large slices of bread and bagels. The other new features are terrific such as the 30 second warm up and frozen buttons. The dial selector is so much easier to use than the slide to determine the level of toasting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Toaster

We specifically chose to purchase an Oster toaster because of their good reputation for high quality, small appliances. This toaster is an embarrassment. The frame and structure is flimsy but most frustrating is it's inability to simply toast bread/bagels uniformly. The heat setting does little and we always get a half burnt and half untoasted piece of bread.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad Product

I bought this toaster for my wife for Christmas 2017, it lasted less then two months,
and when it was working it toasted uneven. I expected this work so much better then it did for the price I paid for it, very disappointed. The last toaster we had lasted for years

This is not a 4 slice toaster.

I bought this because I love the brand and this toaster is gorgeous.
But, this is a 2 slot toaster. It toasts 2 slices of bread perfectly, except sometimes it randomly doesn't toast bread to the setting, this is where the 30 second button comes in handy.
My biggest issue with this toaster is the 4 slice claim, 4 slices have to be not very wide and of the same type of bread.
In the morning I have oat multigrain bread and my kids have basic white. I cannot make my toast at the same time as I make my sons toast.
It is frustrating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If only one side is toasting, make sure the bagel setting has not been selected. If it has been selected, then only the inner elements will heat up.

Doesn’t work properly

I gave up my toaster oven because I wanted something simpler. I paid more for this toaster because I thought it was good quality, nope. The toast doesn’t stay down, it takes 4-5 tries & when it finally cooks & pops up, I have to unplug it & get the toast out with a knife. Very disappointed!

Poor quality

I bought this toaster to replace another long slot toaster we had for a few years that I gave to my daughter to take to college. This toaster has a much lower quality than the previous one. It is much lighter and lower gauge metal. The toasts nevertheless come out good but the spring is strong and sometimes the bread jumps and flies out. The worst gripe I have about this toaster that caused me to return it after just 7 days of use is that there is a design flaw. The bread holder is very narrow and if you have a thin bread like pita, it falls to the side and just goes down. I had a pita bread that fell down and after trying to take it out, it went further down and became flat and there was no way to take it out. I hade spend 20 minutes to crush and cut it to pieces from above and take the pieces out little by little. I then returned it. A photo of this bread is attached. I hope the designers take note of this flaw and make the slot bread support just a little wider to be able to support breads narrower than a slice bread.
