I bought an off brand only to take it back and replaced it with this LG and I love it! Cooled the room quickly and efficiently. Noise was not an issue and we also like the dehumidifier.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Originally purchased for bedroom, but found it would easily cool living area. Some noise but TV can be turned up. We've no neighbors to annoy. No worries. Already recommended to family friend.

Love the air conditioner. Works very well. Easy to use works very effectively, cools quickly. It would be perfect if it was just a little quieter. Life is good in Florida....with LG.

Portable A/Cs are Cool!

I am situated in a colonial home with a problem;no CA! To solve the problem in the most economical way I chose the 10K unit not only for one bedroom but I was so happy, I went back and bought two additional ones for my boys bedrooms. They are relatively quiet and deliver enough btus to cool the entire upstairs(3 bedrooms, office, two bathrooms). Are they woth the money? In my opinion, YES, they are!!
Pros: economical vs. ca

the air conditioner provides lots of cooling power. my room is close to the maximum range and the machine can still cool the room. however, you will have to drain out the water from time to time.
