Good A/C Unit - a bit noisy

The air conditioner does a good job of cooling a small room, but can be quite noisy even on the low setting. Took some getting used to in our bedroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works great and keeps my room very cool only draw back and why I gave it 3 stars is because the water storage gets full really fast! And I have to empty the tank every 2 hrs and to empty the tank I bought a small step stool cause plug is literally at the bottom of the ac and you have to put it on something to empty the water.

Love the Portablity

I love the fact that this AC is movable, don't block windows either. We are retired and have a big open log cabin, and this little AC does provide us with alot of relief from the heat we've experienced this summer. It doesn't seem to run the electric bill up too high either. No, it doesn't make the house 60 degrees, but yes it does cool it down to 70, and when it's 92 outside, that is a huge drop. You do have to empty the water tray though, I haven't had it evaporate yet, but then too, the light never came on or the AC shut off because it was full. It cools down a 40' x 40' area downstairs for us. I would recommend it. I like the style of it also, and it is very easy to use.

great portable unit

This unit has it's good points and bad. It cooled 3 rooms in my house quit nicely, I really liked the way I could point it in the direction I needed it. It does need to be drained, but I did this by buying the right sized hose and hooking it up and then drained it into a big tub. Having to empty the tub about every 10 hours. It was a pain but it kept the house cool. The hose needed is not included so be forwarned, buy one before you leave the store. Otherwise you will be dragging the unit outside to drain the water.

I have a 900 sq ft condo and this product cools really well. We felt the temp in the condo drop within a few minutes of turning on the unit.
Only drawback is that it is kind of loud and cannot be moved around the room very well. You must have a window to use this product.
