Fills with water EVERY night!

We've had the LG TPW080CR19 portable unit for one year and it has started filling up with water EVERY NIGHT! It will not even run a full night, without turning off at about 3:00 am saying FL...and it is full of water. Granted, we live in the south, and it's humid right now, but not making one full night of cooling (we don't run it during the day) seems ridiculous. We have seet it up for continous draining to see if that will help, but the manual says not to run it under continous draining in cool mode. We'll see what happens. Getting really to kick this one to the curb and buy a window unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall a very efficient Air conditioner

This product cools a medium sized room quickly. Has great handy features. A bit noisy.
Needs a window close by to blow the the hot air to the exterior.

Fell short of actually conditioning the air

Had to return product. The portable AC was tested for the past week . Very Hot + Humid. Northeast Ohio
1. Pulled in way too much Hot + Humid Air
2. Exhausted cool dry air + warm air from heat exchanger to the outside
2. Caused the rooms to increase in Humidity + Temp
3. Engineering needs to add a second port. One port to Input air from the outside for the heat exchanger, and another port to exhaust hot moist air to Outside. You need 4 ports not 3

This Ac Works Great. I Use This Unit To Cool Down My Basement . I love the Timer Feature ON The A/C . If Anyone Needs A Portable A/C . You Will Not Be Disappointed With This Unit.

It cools very well...

I use this in a 12' x 17' room and it cools it easily even when it was 92 degrees. It still is noisy but you do get use to hearing it. It really does work very well and does cool very well. I have never needed to empty the tank and when I installed it the humidity in this large room was right at 67% on my wall weather unit. Overall it is a very good product. IF it didn't have the noise it would be a really great product!

This LG portible air conditioner cools by bedroom very quickly. My previous unit, which had only slightly lower BTU, could hardly keep it cool. Only trade off: slightly more niose, which I will get used to.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality
