I'd buy it again

Cools my apartment much better than the old LG window unit I had (it broke). Sleek looking and powerful. The only problem is that it clicks audibly every so often. Can't figure out what that is.

Love my new AC

I took down my old AC which was so old and decided just to cool down my bedroom with this new product. Ism so glad I decided to do this! Now I don't have to cool off the whole house at night which has saved me so much money on my electric bill.
Even better this new unit works even better than my old one!

I purchased this unit to keep the west facing living room cool during the afternoon hours. Except for not showing the temperature in the room, this A/C does have many features that will benefit the owner, such as the auto-moving vent blades that help to distribute the cold air high & low. Installation mostly involved installing the air vent into the window -- which took about 15 minutes.
Regarding the noise -- it's about the same or less than other equally sized BTU A/Cs. I thought the noise would be an issue but it is something one can easily get used to.
After using this unit in the A/C mode (only) for about a month, we have not had to empty the water-tray, which was a concern of mine! I'm truly impressed with the design of this unit and would like to tip my hat to the design engineers!

Surprised at how well this cools the house

I tried to replace a through the wall 180000 btu air conditioner. After looking at the prices and how I would need to get someone to install ( I am older woman and can't even lift let alone install) I decided to try this unit. Oh My Goodness!! Easy to install, rolls on wheels. My house is 1250 square feet. This keeps the back bedroom at 69 and the cool air travels to the living room and it is about 75 on hot days. I bought a smaller 8000 BTU second ac for the living room but rarely have to use it.The only complaint is that it takes up floor space. I believe it is worth the space!

Efficient & Economical To Use!

We live in a three story house. We installed our single LG A/C unit on the west wall of the dining room that adjoins the kitchen & living areas and turned it on about noon everyday to conserve energy, with two oscillating fans, one located in front of stairway to sleeping rooms upstairs and the other in the alcove to another south-facing living space pointed opposite directions to circulate the cool air (main floor plan is circular). We were able to turn it off every evening about 9:00 p.m. Amazingly, this single unit cooled our house throughout many 90 degree days!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, life saver!

Works Really Nice

I bought this unit to replace a Royal Souverign unit of the same Btu's. This unit is alot more colder than my old unit and the fan blows out better. yes my other unit was a self evaporating machine which i paid alot exttra for but I have has this unit for a month now and yet still to empty it. Granted i use this machine in my bedroom to supplemant my central air so im sure that helps.

Sleep Well with LG AC

We had an unusually hot summer this year in Western Washington and this AC unit worked well right of the box. Instructions and set up were well written and easy to perform. This unit cools a 20 X 18 bedroom and a 18 X 12 master bath. We turn the unit on about a hour before going to bed and the room is a very comforable 72 degrees when we are ready for bed.
If there is a down side, it is a little noisy, especially for my wife.

I am having trouble turning it on, I resent the unit via outlet, holding it down a for ten seconds etc. still not working any one knows the trick ?
