THIS AIR CONDITIONER HAVE OPERATED PERFECTLY SINCE INSTALLATION. QUIET SETTING ALLOWS SLEEP WITHOUT INTERUPTION.

Clean air filter light never turns off no matter how clean you keep the removable air screen. Do not understand never had this kind of issue with any other A/C

the product lives up to my standards.features are good. noise level is tolerable considering there are 2 motors running,and rushing air does make noise

Performs even better than expected

This model, the LW8014, is very powerful, cooling not only our 25X14 bedroom but also the entire upstairs (3 add'l rooms) on all but the hottest days. It's also very quiet. But a footnote here, the quiet comes only if you do not push the filter all the way into the slot as it vibrates loudly if you do. This little workaround in no way affected the efficiency or its ability to remove air particulates. We also love the remote control as our bedroom is long and it allows us to control it completely from across the room.
Highly recommend as it is still a very high quality, powerful unit.

I Might Look Elsewhere

We had this model for about a year. The first year it worked great. After putting it back in the window for year 2 the compressor was making funny noises and was much louder than prior. There is clearly a defect in it. We had to replace it after only one year which is well below acceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Central air fails, LG to the rescue

We live in California in a mobile home. Our Central Air failed & was going to cost way too much to repair. I did some research & found the LG unit. Easy install by myself & it works great for what we needed it for. Thx LG.
