We have been able to use both the air and heat and the worked very good. The energy saver feature work good and the auto swing has worked great.

I am building my art studio in the deep south of Alabama.
It is over 400 sq.ft. with 10ft wall-ceiling. I have two french doors (with blinds) in front where the morning and afternoon sun directly hit. There is no insulation on that wall nor dry wall as of yet; ceiling is not insulated either.
One side wall is attached to the house and the other is insulated where I installed a 4ft.H x 31/2ft W window. The AC was installed in this window which is towards the front of building and only 2ft above the floor. I still have construction going on and an ATV blocking its air flow, BUT even with all this against it working properly it still got my studio down to 74 degrees (Fahrenheit). Hardly a sound...in fact I have to check to see if its on.

I bought my Lw1214HR air conditioner in December of 2013 and it is absolutely wonderful,both cooling & heating work very well & very quiet and I love the energy control feature.it's a little pricey but I'm satisfied,it's a hit you won't miss.

This product works well and has nice features (the remote is a plus). The only downside is that it uses a lot of electricity and my bill has gone up noticeably since it was installed. However, I do live in Phoenix so it's difficult to know how much of the increased electric bill is due to the unit and how much is due to high temperatures.

Great little cooler

The ladies in the front office were melting until I got this little guy in their window. It is more potent, quieter and uses less energy than the previous one but because it is more technologically advanced it has all that but in a smaller package allowing me to get a higher BTU unit. Thank you LG. Thanks to you the ladies can work in a more comfortable office..... and wear their parkas in June. Now if only you guys sold vacations, the business world would be a better place.

I purchased this A/C to go in my garage. In the past, I had to use a 5000 btu window A/C unit in my shop to help cool my garage. In the winter, I had to use 3 portable heaters in the shop and garage. With this unit, I not only get the A/C I want but a bonus of heat along with it. It is a very good looking unit and would look good in any room. The remote control was a surprise and I love it. This unit also has a energy setting that keeps the unit completely off until it is needed. I really like that feature because it is not constantly running and using energy. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a A/C heat unit for their house.

Previous LG a/c unit was 9 years and 4 months old. Replaced it with another LG unit that is a heat / cool all in one. The a/c works excellent. Soon I will test out the heater. Very happy with LG!

An outstanding Product for the Price

Purchased this to heat and cool an outside deck that we converted to an enclosed type cottage. Winter has set in and we were able to get everything done except insulation. Recently temps fell to 14 degrees in the Smokey Mountains and this unit was able to take an 18 x 16' room, with an open attic, and within 30 minutes raise the temp from 20 degrees to near 40. After another 30-45 minutes and with some assistance from a small floor unit, because of the extremely windy conditions, the room was near 60 degrees and very tolerable. The unit is quiet, considering the amount of air is blows. The remote control feature works clear across the room. If I could find one bad thing to say, and it's not really bad, that's that I wish the I could program the heat to come on at a certain time, like I can the A/C. It was easy to install and came with everything I needed. A superior product and worth the accolades! Keep it up LG!
