Not worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had 2 different models (120v & 240v) from LG and they both broke down with in a year. If the heating element goes out and you have it running on automatic it will work harder to try to bring the air temp up, which will triple your electric bill! The AC part works fine, but the heater just isn't strong enough for any lasting usage. Since I bought the unit specifically because it was a combo AC/Heater, the heater not working is a complete deal breaker.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 3 1/2 years the heating coil rusted out and it had mold all over the blower and the coils.

Good Product

This A/C is working very well for cooling. I haven't been able to try out the heat cycle yet because of the weather here in Florida. The only issue that I had with installation is that this unit is designed for a wood casement window, not aluminum window frames. I made it work with a little duct tape and caulking completing the seal around the curtains.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product was fairly easy to install and appears to be doing a good job. I DID have a item that came somewhat damaged out of the box, but a phone call to LG support solved the problem-they shipped me a new piece to replace it and despite the delay of a week, it all worked out nicely.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings

Air blows lukewarm at best. It's only in the 40s but heater won't blow warm.
