[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read some of these reviews and I cannot fathom its the same unit. I bought this 12,000 BTU AIR/HEAT 8 years ago and it has run in one mode or another every single day without fail. It’s a little louder than it was when new but this piece of LG Magic had gone from heater to A/C in the same day. South Texas is where I live.

This air conditioner is a great product. Ithte office area very well cools. The timer feature is great to have it cool before we arrive.

This product is not dependable.

I purchased this item in 2008 with a five year warrenty. It broke down every year at the worst time. Either at the hottest or the coldest of weather. It is not dependable. After everything had been replaced--we actually got one year without a repair but has started all over again. Company was not helpful. If you like repairs then it is for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This unit was bought after the many reviews that I read. This unit is really quite, not the window shakers that you hear about. We put the unit on 76 degrees and it cools the whole house very comfortably in the hot Florida weather that we are experiencing this year. Installation was easy. This unit does the job!

The product was fairly easy to install and appears to be doing a good job. I am using it on the heat side now because its been too cool. It is quiet and warms my 10X13 office nicely. I like it.
