This unit runs well and when used on economy will shut on and off on its own saving energy. Quieter operating than other units.

I bought this a month ago and it is performing like a charm, better than expected and I use the sleep feature during the day and it's perfect for keeping the electric bill in check and the apartment comfortable when I get home. And the 10K BTU's can handle a top floor of a walk up railroad appartment with a clear skylight over the kitchen.

COMPACT, QUIET, FAST COOLING

Even though I have two central air conditoners I have the Frigiare window unit in my bedroom for night use only while the other units are shut down.
My energy bill over the summer is less because of this, plus the reduction of the wear and tear on the cental units.

its quite a noisy machine. i dont like that when itcomes on its set to energy saver.

Great AC Unit!

I did a lot of research on AC Units prior to settling on this one. I found this to be the best value for the money and it has not disappointed! Our house is open concept and this AC unit cools our entire down stairs easily and quickly. It has been great to have when we have had parties this summer also. My electric bill also hasn't skyrocketed from the use of this unit. Love it- very impressed.
