One pays for what you get and I got quality, was glad it only had one window exaust and the intake air was taken from the room.
Only one down side the display light is a bit bright at night and I sloved that with a piece of cardborad fastened with one piece of tape so the cardbord can be fliped to see the display
I can have the bed room as cold as a meat locker if I choose
Pros: Features/Settings, Quality

I have only owned this for about 2 months. Works very well in my computer room to cool it down. I learned the hard way not to use the sticky strips for the window...you cannot close & lock your window anymore after putting in the sticky strips. So I removed it & just use one with the tape still covered. For the price of this unit, I wish the remote came with a temperature reading option. Not just what the temperature is set to. Right now, the unit is making me a bit nervous. Right after turning it on, it makes a quick grinding noise that sounds a bit like the unit that died on me. Hopefully this is just normal operation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Portable Cooler!!

Bought this unit as backup cooling for hurricane season here in south Louisiana. Got it home and installed it in our attached, single car garage which is always very hot. This unit dropped the temperature to 78 degrees after running over night and managed to keep it there! I bought this unit for it's single duct hose design to replace an older unit which had the separate water drain hose. I ran the unit for a week in south Louisiana humidity with no issues. Compared the old unit, this one is relatively quiet. No more noise that a typical box fan.

I have been using this product for a month now to cool an apartment. It works great and is user friendly. Here in Florida it is a must have item. Best money I ever spent.

Product is too loud and not very portable

The product is too loud in all modes to be of practical use in a bedroom.
The sticky backed foam strips provided to seal the window opening cannot be removed without destroying the strips, thus eliminating any "portability".

Easy to set up and operate

As a property manager, I purchased this unit to use during A/C outages in my apartments. The unit is fairly portable and can be set up quickly, unlike a window unit. It is large enough to cool 1-3 apartment sized rooms from a central location.
I'd like to see a more substantial, rigid plastic window exhaust spacer. The plastic is so flexible it is difficult to hold it in place to get he window to close evenly on the spacer and the foam insulation..
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

This product does not perform well

I purchased this unit and it worked well for first week but then it stopped cooling. This unit will cool for about 1 hour then all of sudden it stops and blows warm air
