Works Great have other brand but think LG is much cheaper to run. I like that the filter timer goes off in about 2 weeks to keep the AC running most effetely
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

SORRY, NO STARS HERE

Sorry, we cannot give this unit any stars. We had the unit since 7/21/14 and today 9/15/15 just after the expiration of the 1 year warranty (short of two months) the unit stopped working. It appears that the warranty period was determined based on the life of the unit.
LG, why don't you build these items better? As the owner of other LG appliances that do last I know that you can do a better job.

Bad Fan after 2 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this unit in June 2014 and now condenser fan is bad. I will try to repair. This unit should have lasted longer.

Yes this unit has problems we have two both in sun all day after 4 years to the day the upstairs one fail with a dumb 34 code. We will be looking elsewhere for a air conditioner last units different brand lasted 25 years this crap now a days doesn't last.
