Excellent Air Conditioner

I bought this for my family room which measures 16'x33'. It cools the room down very fast and very cold. I set it to 70° and in no time the room is at temperature. The unit is big and heavy. It took two people to install it in the window but it is well worth it. I would recommend this air conditioner to anyone looking to cool down a large room.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Product works as advertised

This product worked really well for me. So far I'm happy with it's performance. I installed this myself. I think it's fairly easy to install, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. You're better off just using the instructions as a concept kind of thing and not taking them too literally because whoever wrote them didn't know what they were doing. If you can get past that, it's a pretty good air conditioner and does the job as long as you don't ask for more than it can handle.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best output for 115V
on July 17, 2013

I purchased this unit to replace a similar one that was about 4 years old and had developed a loud noise in the compressor. This one fit right into the old space, and works as it should. I chose this particular unit because the outlet where I need to use it is ~115V (110-120V) and this model has the greatest output in terms of BTU that I could find in this size at this voltage.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product is QUIET

I had an older refrigerated window unit. The noise was so loud that you had to turn up the television. When you turned it off the noise was "deafening". The newer unit is much more efficient and again, quieter. Even with tv off and asleep at night the sound is not noticeable.
