Fantastic Product

My daughter and I live in Florida and our central heat and air unit went out on us during the hottest summer we've ever had. My son and daughter- in- law came over to see me on Mother's day and said my present was outside. I looked in the back of their truck and starting crying. They had bought me this window air unit. They literally saved our lives! Now we are nice and cool and aren't feeling sick all the time from the heat. The air conditioner works perfectly and love the remote control. My electric bill was very low too so that is fantastic! Highly recommend this product to everyone!

Great product

This is the second LG air conditioner I have had. The first one I bought performed great for almost 5 yrs. then it quit working but it was still covered under warranty. They sent someone out to check the unit. LG didn't have the part so they replaced the unit. I am just as happy with the second unit as I was the first.

This unit exceeded my expectations

When my central air went out I could not afford to have it replaced. I did some research and read reviews before deciding on this particular unit. I have an area that is close to 600 sqft plus a high ceiling I need to cool. I can't believe for the first time in over 4 summers my house is comfortable. I come home and the thermostat on the wall is around 84 with in an hour it reads 78! I do have a fan placed close to the vents and a ceiling fan but still to be cool and comfortable in an hour or less is wonderful!

This air conditioner is great! I love the timer features & the remote control features the best.
It keeps our living room & kitchen cool in our mobile home. And, with the proper placement of fans, the cool air gets pushed down both halls to the bedrooms, keeping them cool as well.

The unit is either faulty or is of poor design. The front filter bracket does not sit flush with the system. I have also found that it is very noisy in operation. When set in the Econ mode you can really hear the compressor kick on.
Pros: cheap
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great AC for a single room would not try and do several rooms with it.

This A/C is junk bought on 5/24/13 this is number 2 and once again the control panel does nothing will never buy another LG product again!

THE BEST BUY EVER!!!!!!!!!

I recently purchased a new home in San Diego without a central air unit. My home is 2k sqft. with 2 story ceilings. I purchased this ac because it was the biggest I could buy for 110 volts. My house temp would be in the 90's on a normal day with high humidity. I installed this air conditioner in my downstairs family room and when I turned it on........ Instantly the air begin to change because it blows VERY STRONG and COLD... My unit ran for 2 months non-stop from the first day I opened it. It would keep the house cool with the help of air circulations but they were noisy. I am so pleased with this unit that I purchased (4) 11,000 btu LG portable air conditioners to go in each bedroom. I set them all to 74 and they work together and bring my home to 74 degrees... I am MORE than happy with LG products .. My 15k unit ran non stop for 2 months with no breaks until I recently purchased the other units. I made up my own central air system in my home by using LG products. I even bought my son a portable 10,000 btu for his apartment. THANK YOU LG FOR MAKING GREAT PRODUCTS...
