My whole family loves all the drinks we can make with this machine. Easy frothed milk forhot chocolate, hot water for tea, lattes etc. Everything tastes great and comes out hot. Absolutely love having this in our home and use it throughout the day.
What would I change? The water needs to be added on the top. This is difficult if the machine is under the kitchen cabinets. Also the drip tray needs to be cleaned and washed out more than I would have anticipated. But neither of these issues would prevent me from purchasing again.
Pros: makes terrific drinks.
Cons: difficult to add the water.

After doing a lot of research on super automatic espresso machines, I chose this one and I am glad I did. It has so far performed excellently, and everyone has been happy with their coffee drinks. The milk froths automatically. This machine looks great on the counter and is easy to maintain. The thing I would advise is to always load it with non oily or medium roast beans. You also need to buy the water filter separately.
Pros: looks and works great doesn't take up much space
Cons: need to buy water filter extra

This machine is incredible, simple as that! It does everything with ease. It has settings for: water hardness, strength of coffee, grinding and temperature! It’s crazy! You can set how much coffee to put in your cup and it remembers! If your making a Latte, you can set how much milk and coffee! Yes, I recommend this machine. If you’re serious about your coffee, this will NOT disappoint you. The service department is equally awesome. They treat you like you just bought their best Maserati!

Ease of use, Coffee Shop quality beverage!

This is an AMAZING machine. I have spent several months comparing machines and decided the Saeco Incanto would be the best for our needs. It has NOT disappointed! The wide array of beverages that can be made with the touch of a button makes this easy to use right out of the box. The Espresso Lungo is by far our favorite. If you are debating purchasing an espresso machine, don't wait any longer, scoop this one up! You will not regret it.

Design Flaws

(2 days into purchasing this system, and prior owner of a Philipps Saeco Coffee System), however, something is wrong with the System, as every usage attempt shows an error. Three different errors continually show:
1. screen shows a grey coffee bean icon, with 'X' out, indicating (according to the documentation) Coffee beans are not in the hopper when there are beans.
2. Red icon showing coffee beans are not grinding. According to the documentation, set the grinder to less coarse. Which we attempted, however, the error persists.
3. When attempting to resolve either error, both icons are persistent on the screen. Therefore, the system will not allow usage. A workaround is to turn off, then back ON the system. This apparently resolves either icon above.
4. Also, the system can determine if the Coffee bean hopper door is closed is flawed. The small magnet, the system uses, to determine if the coffee bean hopper door is closed, can be obstructed by a small coffee bean lodged inside and between the hopper door and the magnet. This sets off an error in the system indicating the hopper door is open, when in fact the door is closed. However, due to the small coffee bean masking the problem, the system prevents the usage of the system, until the problem is resolved. Additionally, the small magnet, prys lose from its original installed position, thereby, setting off system error. This is a bad engineering design. It should be a simply European design pressure switch that closes once the hopper is in the correct, closed, position.

Hope this helps. otherwise, as a previous Saeco Coffee System owner, the system is awesome.
Pros: awesome coffee frothing system, simple and easy to use
Cons: system errors mask true happiness of the machine, magnet design for the coffee bean lid, detecting coffee beans in the hopper is flawed

I spent about a month researching various *smart* espresso machines that would offer me the ease of making a perfect cappuccino in the morning. The Incanto fit just about every single need we had. While I love a cappuccino, it just isn't enough for me. Even a double shot cappuccino (for me) is gone in a minute. I start with the lungo espresso and then add a cappuccino to it for the perfect (in my world) morning coffee. My wife on the other hand loves the factory setting for the cappuccino.
I also appreciate the menu option for drinks. Though, I do wish the milk feature was on the main part of the machine. This would allow me to just add the froth I want, rather then changing the automated settings, as there are two of us.
LOVE this machine and I am so happy I did my research and did not go with the other brand.
Pros: ability to change strength, ability to stop the amount of milk or espresso, ease of cleaning.
Cons: woud be great if it made a traditional coffee., milk only option on front of machine

Great coffee, but the carafe cleaning is tough

It is making a great coffee, but to clean the carafe unit you need to handle 9 pieces, some of which are pretty small and make sure to be careful to not break your nails while doing so. Keep in mind you need to do it often.
Compared to other, older models the usability (from a maintenance/cleaning point of view) of this part has absolutely went south, as if it has been designed w/o the years of prior experience.
