Fails over time, needs expensive cleaning

These units and design are flawed. The out of coffee sensor begins to fail at about six months. It thinks the grinder is out of coffee every few cups. Eventually the unit will says out of coffee 100% of the time. You will be required to send unit in for expensive shipping and cleaning at least once a year. I have had two machines and both failed exactly the same. I was told use less oily beans, but I use a light roast already. Poor design and no remediation. Stay away and avoid Incanto.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not worth paying extra money to get the integrated milk frother

even though we use the "clean" cycle every time after we use the milk frother for cappuccino. it bubbles up where it dispenses the milk and then the bubble busts and milk flies everywhere! it's ridiculous that such a great design machine has such a poorly designed frother. the machine itself has a great design and looks very slick and modern but I stopped using the milk frother and now will just microwave my milk instead.
Pros: good coffee
Cons: milk frother doesn't work, milk will bubble up and fly all over the counter
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Super-automatic Espresso Machine!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 8 years and well over 5,000 shots of espresso it was time to upgrade my basic Saeco Odea Go super-automatic espresso machine. I researched quite a bit and read lot of review before deciding on the Incanto. I wanted something that does my basic espresso, but also did milk based drinks mostly for guests and that automatically did the frothing with a carafe instead of a wand. This machine completely blew away my expectations. It is elegant, easy to use, has so many features, and makes drinks of excellent quality. I have found if you use good beans (I use Lavazza from Amazon only in my other machine for 8 years with ZERO problems) then your machine will perform flawlessly. I could not be happier with my purchase or the cost of a machine of this level.
Pros: easy to use, many features, easy to clean and maintain, great drink selection, excellent tasting drinks, consistant

So Far So Good

So far so good. I really have only used the latte feature once and the milk frothing seemed to work just fine. After adjusting the grind setting to more fine, the filter cakes became more solid and the coffee tasted way better. The original factory setting is too coarse so the filter cakes break apart and the hot water picks up very little coffee flavor. The directions indicate it is possible to adjust the grind while the machine is grinding, but every time you open the lid, the grinder stops. Cleaning of this machine is infrequent, which is nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what i expected

I constantly have issues with this machine.
I clean it once a week but still doesn't seem to be working right.
The machine makes a squeaky noise every now and then when brewing.
The pre-grinded coffee never works, always getting clogged up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shows “No Beans”...but hopper is full.

Great looking machine and makes a good coffee when it works. On the second day I had this machine, the icon indicating the bean hopper was empty appeared after pressing the ‘espresso’ button...however, the bean hopper was full. I have done all the troubleshooting I can, including cleaning the entire system, resetting the unit, using a different bean type (never used an oily bean), cleaning the grinder coffee chute, etc...the problem continues to persist. Im very disappointed with this as I owned a Vienna for 12 years before this without a problem. Dont know what to do at this point other than return it. A real shame.
