Best Blender

I received this item from KitchenAid to test the product. I am so happy I did. This is the best blender I have ever used. I used the recipes in the accompanying recipe book for smoothies. Kids loved the recipes and the smoothies. Will be making more smoothies at home going forward.

Cavitation is a problem, would like the rotating fixture in the base (to which the fixture in the jar connects with - in order to rotate) to be made of brass or strong metal. Plastics tend to deteriorate.

In October 2020 I bought the professional series KSB6060BM blender. I own several products from Kitchenaid and have always has a positive experience. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the blender. The motor is strong and the results in the beginning were really good. Shortly afterwards, the jar started leaking and we are no longer able to use the machine. It seems the motor and the jar are not compatible. We are not inclined to replace the jar either due to the high price. I sincerely hope Kitchenaid can propose a reasonable solution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent quality blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I previously had a Kitchen Aid blender that we received as a wedding gift 25 years ago. It recently met its demise after thousands of morning smoothies and frozen drinks. I was a bit skeptical of the quality of newer blenders. The Kitchen Aid High Performance Series blender has proved me wrong. It is even more powerful than my previous one. It blends and chops ice easily. It is easy to use and clean. I am very impressed with the quality, especially the pitcher. We are looking forward to many years use in our kitchen. If you need a blender, this is a great choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is powerful. I made frozen drinks all weekend and it never slowed down. This thing is heavy too. Very sturdy and well made... not your average cheap plastic blender. I'm pretty sure this baby can handle whatever I throw at it. I just have to keep my husband from using it to make wood chips for his smoker (that's what happened to my last blender)!!
