Cute blender but does not work on ice or frozen

I bought this blender to make coffee smoothies and fruit smoothies. When I put two cups ice &1 1/4 cup cold coffee in blender, it worked terrible. It made grinding noises on the pulse and I had to use a spatula to get it to move in blender. After that, the high speed blend did not work much better. Fruit smoothies were a bit better but not great. Going back. My old Breville puts this blender to shame.

The motor and size capacity makes my smoothies perfect without a chalky taste.

I have had this for only a brief time, but I have been impressed so far. It has blended my smoothies so well without any problems. There were no large lumps of frozen fruit left like I have had in my nutribullet that I took back to the store. What I like best about it though is the look and feel of the blender. It looks so much better than the vitamixes I have considered and it feels so solid. When I picked up other blenders in the store they just felt and looked so cheap and light. This is such a solid piece of equipment and I love that it is backed by a 10 year warranty! Other blenders are cheaply made in China and have a 1 year warranty. Thanks for making such a great product.

Modern design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender as a replacement for my vitamix which I gave to my son. I new that I made the right choice as soon as I opened the box! Beautiful modern design! Hefty motor and base! powerful! thoughtful controls! Immediately I decided to ! make a nice spinach smoothy. For a test I threw in two tablespoons of chia sees! as I drank my smoothy, I couldn't tell if the chia seeds were even in there!!! This blender is fantastic! Vitamix has nothing over KitchenAid!

Great blender, love love

I bought this blender with reservations, I thought it was too hyped, but when it arrived, I fell in love with it, I make breakfast smoothies, using different fruits and vegetables, it went thru them, like no other blender had, and I had purchased other blenders, just to be disappointed.

Amazing blender

I'm old fashion did not need a ninja warrior, a vegetable chopper was going to buy the 3 speed model ,my husband said no buy the big one , this will be the last blender we buy .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this blender for over a month now and it works great! Heavy duty, solid blender that does the job no matter what you’re blending. Follow the recommended process and you should not have any issues. I’ve blended smoothies, soups and drinks without any issues. KitchenAid makes great products!
