Bought this for my wife's Asus laptop. I forgot how picky Asus products are and this drive is not compatible with her system. So, I put it in my HP laptop. Works ok however there is no significant performance increase. Boot-up might be a second or two faster and maybe a second or two faster on opening files but nothing to write home about. I wasn't buying this for performance but to improve my wife's laptop since her hard drive is having issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decent drive, good price.

One of my family members had a mechanical hard drive fail in their 3 year old laptop and asked me to fix it.
This drive was the best deal in their price range, and was available at the local store, so I picked it up for them.
What can I say, the drive installed exactly the way it was supposed to, and the Windows installation and updates went very quickly.
I never saw their laptop working before, but with this SSD it boots up in about 20 seconds and is very quick in everything I've done on it.

ONLY HAVE HAD THE PRODUCT FOR A WEEK OR SO .ONE THING I WOULD LIKE TO SAY IS SOMEONE LIKE ME THAT KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT TECH PRODUCT .I WOULD HAVE BEEN THANKFULL IF THE SALE PERSON WOULD HAVE TOLD ME IN DETAIL WHAT IS ON THE HARD DRIVE AND WHAT IS NOT .

Had to return it as it would not accept migration software from three different companies. Guess it was just defective as I tried a Samsun ssd and the migration software worked fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
