I bought this a month ago and was very easy to connect to wi fi and install, whilst away on a short break we could view the cameras and any activity via the phone app. Only problem was that one of the camera’s went offline and on returning home found the camera to be completely unresponsive. I have just submitted a warranty claim with Swann and must say that to date they have been very quick to respond.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely disappointing

We had really high hopes for these cameras. Purchased these a year ago and they have been extremely disappointing. The battery life is super short. We seem to charge them every 3 to 4 days which makes them super inconvenient. (yes, we've tried several different camera settings) And the cameras seem to delay recording after motion is detected which defeats the purpose of the "security cameras". Would not recommend purchasing.

I have had nothing but WiFi connection issues. It is consistently cutting out. Bought a WiFi booster hoping that would help, and it has definitely not! Stick with Nest! Way better product!

Frustrating

I was initially happy y but in the past 2 days the camera has been offline and I have even put it next to the modem and it won't work. It needs updating but won't connect to the internet no matter what I try. I am ready to throw it in the bin and would not recommend a product like this which is useless.

Camera id

Hi i am searching for the camera id, you require it to pair a camera to the new swan security app. It states on the app its located on the base of the camera, all i can see is a mac address and serial number, any clues please ?

i have installed these cameras firstly they do not hold battery life very well, secondly everytime i try to get vision it tells me they are disconnected and take some time to get back online. overall very unhappy, i have had other swann cameras that i loved thought these would be as good

Please know that the battery life on this unit will vary on the amount of use. The more the camera is triggered/remotely accessed, the more data and power required. Some experimentation with locations may be required to get the optimal signal, check the signal strength in the app to give you a guide on the most suitable placement options. The Wi-Fi range can be up to 65ft / 20m but the Wi-Fi signal can be reduced by many things around the home. Take into consideration the number of walls the Wi-Fi signal must pass through and their construction. The more solid the building material or the more metal the signal must pass through the more impact it has on the Wi-Fi signal. Also, take note of electrical equipment and other appliances that may affect the Wi-Fi signal.
