need recording time to match the motion

I bought my cameras 3 months ago, video is clear connectivity was difficult with my blackberry key2 (android OS) so had to set up with wifes Iphone. When video is triggered it only lasts 10-15 seconds even if there is movement so miss most of what is happening.Find cameras not very useful except for live view.

Stopped supporting Android

Stopped working September 2019with the latest Android update. Been a month now and still no sign of an update. Support isn't getting back to me. Seems they sold me a product that I can't use anymore. Super disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2.4ghz on the network, dont use it through a window due to reflections and if pulling it down to recharge the battery is a pain get the solar panel. Only 1 issue I find is when naming the camera in the app the apply button doesnt seem to work and the wifi receiver in it is a little weak but all in all a good product which receives alot of flack in these comments due to user error. If you have issues with setting it up it could be your network also not just your phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery life less than 1 week with the camera I bought recently. I'll be returning it for sure. Footage quality not great. Good concept but still just a toy

Android users be warned

We bought the camera in June 2019, and while it's great whilst plugged in, the battery life is very poor. Their app is currently not compatible with Android version 10 and therefore unless your phone is operating on an older version, you can't open the app without it crashing. It worked fine on my Pixel, but my partner's Pixel 2XL hasn't worked for a few months and my new Pixel 4 has the same issue. We now have to carry around the original Pixel and hotspot it so that we can view our security camera. Looking at buying camera's from elsewhere now. This camera has been a complete waste of time and money.

Absolutely terrible

I bought this piece of junk about a month ago and returned as you can see on line reviews battery was only lasting 1 day. In comparison to the Ring spotlight cam, it has a long way to go as it’s battery and app absolutely obliterate the swan product and also cheaper.

Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience with our Swann Wifi Camera. The battery will give you up to two months of normal use. Note that high sensitivity, frequent access from the app and high numbers of event detection can impact the life of each charge and should be carefully considered when locating and setting the camera. Note also that extreme cold will reduce the effectiveness of the battery. The internal battery cannot be replaced as this would require breaking open the camera case which would affect the IP65 weatherproof seal.
A lithium battery has a typical life span of 500 cycles, meaning that you can recharge the battery 500 times before its performance becomes 20% lower than when the battery was new. Therefore if the camera battery was lasting one month on average between charges, then 500 cycles are going to last 40 years. (500 / 12x per year).

Very good but ...

Bought this recently but had a major problem pairing. Their seemed to be a problem with the security on my phone or router but an hour with RockyP at customer support failed to resolve it. They were good but even logging in with Team Viewer failed. I did eventually get it going after myself ( more by luck) and am happy with the camera and the quality of picture. There is a lag between being triggered and getting a notification - sometimes + 30 minutes the is also a lag on the Safe app each time you load it up maybe 20-30 seconds. I have Swann 5mp wired as well and that is superb so went for this as a supplement as i had an area i couldn't run wire to. So good but for my wired is the preferred option. Battery life no known yet as not needed a charge for 2 days it has been up.
