Very proprietary and won't work with other systems

This is a good little wifi camera but I was hoping for some more features. Sadly my security system cannot address it like it can a cheap dlink, the recording are short and not configurable for longer and you can't start a recording from the app. On the plus side the image quality is good and the fish eye wide angle is great. You just can't get any evidence if you see anything

I have purchased several item from Swann and in general they have provided excellent quality and service. However the purchase of the wireless/wire free camera simply did not measure up.

The camera is just okay. I don't think they are the greatest. It doesn't always want to come up on my phone. The picture freezes a lot. I have to reboot my I Phone. It's not the greatest outside at night.

Easy setup and installation. The motion detection doesn’t always work and when it does the time for your phone app to receive an “alert” is delayed approx 1-3+ minutes. Even when phone and camera are nearby on the same wi-if network

Only issue I have with it is the recording time - 20 seconds! Should be extended to at least a minute.

Only had for a few

Only had for a few days. Had to use wifi extender to get sufficient signal. One day network signal 51%, next day 9% with nothing changed with setup. Hoping it finally settles down one way or the other. Motion detection gets a car 40 feet away better than a person 10 feet away. For live viewing it works great even with 9% signal although, the app is sometimes slow to respond.

Poor battery

I have had to charge the camera less than 6 days apart twice. The reviews said 3-4 weeks

The cameras are able to last up to 3 - 4 weeks without a charge. However, keep in mind this does vary from customers to customer depending on the cameras use.

Magnetic Mount for Swann SWWHD- INTCAM Wireless is Useless

The magnetic mount for the Swann SWWHD-INTCAM is useless. The camera is mounted property but the cameras magnetic ball mount keeps slipping down. Camera basic points towards the ground. Camera good. App ok, requires some refinement..like setting recording times.
