Impossible to setup

cannot install the cameras to my wifi. lack of support. 3 cameras are a waste of money because i cannot get them to work and security is important for house. Have tried so many times and a local security company couldnt figure out why they won't connect
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Camera doesn’t work with new app

Don’t bother, only been problems since end of 2019.

We release frequent updates to this app & include as many improvements as possible with every new release.

Due to the nature of these updates, we do not have a confirmed launched date for reach update. We would recommend signing up for our Android Beta program or allowing a week or two for a new update to be launched.

swwhd intcam problems

i have 2 of these cameras (1 year+)and they have become unreliable and since the app migration. every week there is something wrong with these cameras or app,randomly lose wifi connection and wont reconnect to network, the cam settings wont change or save, the app shows blank screen on live view occasionally,the app says cameras are disconnected or off when they clearly show red led when moving in front of them, constantly on stand by and wont start when app opened.i have lost count of how many times i reboot/reset cameras and app and router to get them to work only for these problems to return when opening app again.i also have swann fixed cam which is okay but often when I'm trying to refresh the smart cam live view the fixed one disconnects or the app crashes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Swann will continue to release new versions of the app and camera firmware to improve your experience. When a new camera firmware is available, the app will show an Update Available message on the main screen. Swann highly recommends that you update your camera firmware to take advantage of the latest improvements. Please follow the instructions in the User Manual for how to update your camera’s firmware.

Used to work ok, and then everything went downhill until they "upgraded" to Swann Security

All was ok. Now, all is bad.
They require you turn on location to install camera on APP...duh...I dont want my location to be known.....why do you need my location to be able to do initial setup? Are you sharing this with CIA or NSA or others who ask for it?
BUT EVEN WORSE, App showing camera needs update for "better battery management" DUH...of course it needs better management....it has been stuck on 18% forever... even when plugged in for weeks. But when trying to install update from the app, it "failed because battery is too low" .....OMG...and it is plugged in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Burglarized 3 days after installed and the cameras got nothing bb

I am still shell- shocked after the break-in. But I set up 5 camera set on Wednesday. At 2 am some kids broke in. Perhaps they knew my system was lame! The cameras were pointed in the right direction but captured no video for me to playback. i spent 3 hours programming the 5 cameras. I am tech savvy. The process was not simple. Now after literally 1 week on the walls, the batteries are depleted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wire-Free Smart Security camera

I have four cameras but two have stopped working unable to reinstall I have tried a few times but unable to connect to the WiFi
