Excellent picture, easy to use.

This tv has great color, the adjustments are easy to do and understand. I recommend this to anyone needing a great tv for their entertainment.

I looked at several models and brands before buying this.
The picture and energy use at this price were the main points for me. I planned to use a surround sound system later so didn't pay attention to sound quality. Two months later the standard video setting is still in use, and the sound is from tv as they are both very good out of the box. The only issue was using a bracket on wall, the hdmi comes out straight back and would have been better to face down, so the wire would not be forced against the wall. I was using bb bracket not LG brand.

Wonderful Picture, sound is lacking

This tv has a wonderful picture. I use it with DirecTV and have no complaints as far as the picture. The only issue I have with this TV is that we have to turn the volume up so HIGH to hear anything. This is a bedroom tv, so I didn't really want to have to buy a sound bar, but it looks like I might have to. Maybe LG will send me one after they read this :)

I, wholeheartedly, recommend this TV. The picture quality is the best I have seen on any TV. Our son, who goes to sports bars and has viewed many TVs, says this is by far the best picture he has seen anywhere. I'm constantly telling my friends how great this LG television is.

I wanted the nicest TV I could find without going into some of the features like "Smart" or Ultra High Def. This was a perfect choice. It's large enough (55") and has a great picture.

Picture is very nice. The sound quality is very lacking. Also it has limited outputs. It has only one HDMI input. Not very good for the price we paid. It would be bettger if it had a pedstal base.
