Don't even bother buying

stopped working after 1.5 years, flashing and nothing works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great TV, Short Life

Great TV, very sharp picture and color enhancement, but after three years, it just died out. Thankfully, I did have the extended warranty.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality

Great Picture-Great Price!

OK, its not a 4K ultra HD picture, but unless you are sitting closer than 6 feet from the set or watching with binoculars, you will not be able so tell the difference. The auto wizard set up was easy to follow and gave us a picture that we really love for watching Blu-Ray discs, network TV, and especially, football. The screen is glossier than the older Sharp 42" it replaces, which is not a problem while viewing bright content. When watching darker content and/or movies, its nice to turn out any lights that can be reflected by the screen. We use the optical sound output to an AV receiver and get great sound. We are using the 2 HDMI inputs for our cable box and Blu-Ray, so if we need more inputs, we will run them all into our AV receiver and run just 1 HDMI to the TV. Overall this is a great TV for a great price if you do not need the Smart functions.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality, price

Not worth it

We bought this TV only two years ago and while watching TV tonight, our screen began flickering. Apparently the LED strips are made to be short lived. We won't be purchasing an LG tv again. Sad that manufacturers have to make TV's that go out perfectly at the time the warranty is up.

Disposable TV lacking basic features.

I really liked this TV until just after it went out of warranty, then the backlights started to burn out, so now I have a screen with lots of dark spots, which looks horrible.
It's sad that LG doesn't make products that last (see other reviews regarding this model). It's also sad that LG is apparently OK with having 1 time customers that then move on to another brand.
Also when using an antenna and selecting the Info button it always say "No Program Information" but the info displays on my other TVs. Seems like a pretty easy thing to display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a great choice I made.
clear picture, beautiful color, set up was so easy even I could do it, remote is easy to use, it is lighter than my old 32 inch flat screen, menu is simple and easy to use and understand.
I love it.
