Initially shopped for a smaller tv but a friend bought this tv and after viewing some programming I was completely blown away. I found the tv easy to setup and use

Perfect addition to home viewing

I kept putting off a new TV purchase, until my salesman called to tell me about this LG. I'm glad I waited. It was easy to set up, and gives the home experience I was looking for. Blue ray movies are fantastic, and even older movies look better with increased detail. The sound from the set is better than I expected, so I don't have to run the home theater sound system all the time (the neighbors let me know). If you waited like I did, now's the time to invest in your new TV.

I like the metallic design because black is too mainstream. Overall , this is a good product worth it's price.

Perfection, finally!

Our 9-year-old plasma broke unexpectedly. With a rather slim budget, I was so pleased to find this LG HDTV.
I still cannot believe I got such an amazing television for such a low price!
Set-up was extremely easy ... especially since my sound bar is made by LG.
I feel like I've got the best television experience going on -- perfect picture & perfect sound (with sound bar).

My first flat screen

I worked for a company that had bought an LG flat screen for our office. After getting it hooked up and everything it turned out to be a great tv and I feel in love with LG tv's and wanted one ever since. I bought this 47" LG tv as a gift to myself with my IRS refund. It is an amazing tv and has a lot of features that I never had on my old tv. I haven't played around with all the features as of yet, but I plan to explore them as soon as I get the chance. The color is amazing and I love all the picture and sound options I can pick from. The picture is very clear and very good. I enjoy watching blu-ray movies on it. The price compared to other tv's I looked at was a real deal also. The sound is really nice, I may buy a sound bar in the future. Considering this is my first review of anything and that this is my first flat screen tv, I think I made a good choice in tv's. I'm always telling my friends how much I love my tv. I would recommend any LG tv's to any of my friends and family.

Very good TV for the price

Picture quality is very good and I like the features. The only thing I disliked were the legs, would have preferred a single center base.

Love the TV - great picture and easy to set up

I am not very savvy on the latest technology and didn't want anything that would be complicated. This TV was very easy to set up - if I can do it - anyone can. The picture is great - much better than the TV it replaced. I'm very pleased with it and would buy another LG again.

I'm happy with the purchase of the 55'' tv. We got it for a reasonable price. wish it had more features,like more hdmi outputs and a more easy way to add external sounds. But all in all it's a great tv the picture quality is awesome, the next lg product in line is a sound bar to add to the tv. happy with purchase.
