Great picture quality and user friendly

This LG t.v. has the finest picture quality for it's class and price. It's very user friendly when making optional custom adjustments and delivers bright and vivid color. I was really surprised how light it was to move if necessary. Thank you LG for a fine product!

My husband and I bought this TV for our new apartment. The picture is bright, vibrant and crisp! The sound is top notch too! He loves to play his PS4 on this TV. It brings the games to life!!! So happy we got this TV!!!!!

Best Bang for the Buck

Just got this TV and its the best I've had so far. I'm a pure gamer and this TV fits all my needs. i wanted something that could make my games come to life and this TV has crystal clear clarity. Even in fast moving games like COD or Forza 5, this TV makes my Xbox One look good. I replaced an old 42 in Plasma with this LG 55lb5900. The picture is completely vivid and clean. It looks huge in my living room. Its is ultra thin and light. If you don't need a smart TV or 3D TV gimmicks this TV is for you. Even in a room with a lot of light coming in, the TV looks fluid and crisp. I research for about a month for a good gaming TV and cheap. LG is making great product at great prices. The menu is a dream and easy to work with. The remote is very responsive and has all the right buttons. Very happy with this TV and how it looks. Best feature is the added USB. I can play movies right from my USB because the TV has a file explorer integrated. Very nice feature. 55 inches make a big differences when watching movies. Not sure about the sound because I have my audio receiver connected to it.

Great TV at a good price

The TV has very good picture quality and sound at a very reasonable price. It's not a smart TV so the features are pretty standard. There are only 2 HDMI inputs which is really not enough but this is pretty standard for TV's in this price range. The TV died about a week after I purchased it but LG support was excellent. They sent out a technician the next day and ordered parts and had them delivered overnight and the technician came back the next day to finish the repair. Hopefully this was just a manufacturing defect and not a sign of the quality of the TV. If you're looking to mount the TV on the wall, the placement of the TV inputs is not in a good position. They're are near the middle in the back of the TV so most mounts will block the access to the inputs. Overall I am happy with the TV.

I looked at all the TVs available in this size range. I have had many other brands in the past, however I had not owned an LG. After comparing this TV to many other more expensive TVs I was completely blown away with the picture quality and clarity. I watch many sporting events which are broadcast in HD and it was very important to me to have a TV that would not only provide a crystal clear picture, I also wanted one that would not blur and could keep up with the high speed action. I am not disapointed at all! I would definitely buy this TV again and would recommend it to anyone looking at a new one as well. Save your money over many of the higher priced TVs, you will not be sorry. I will definitely consider LG products for my future purchases. I am highly satisfied!
