after viewing many lcd televisions I chose the LG. I love the bright and crisp picture. The price point allowed me to buy a larger screen then I had anticipated. The links LG has sent to me, with "How to" tips, have been very helpful.

Great picture and sound

Our 50" LG is in an outdoor setting-- a covered and screened lanai in Central Florida. The picture is superb, and the sound is very impressive, covering a large area with exceptional clarity

The picture quality with the sharp contrast between bright colors and deep blacks is outstanding. I found the sound quality to be muffled so I hooked it up to surround sound and am very satisfied. The price was very reasonable and I love the 60" size.

From a 20 year old TV to this one amazing, dynamic

Yes from sitting in front of a 20 year old TV to this LG is simply UNBELIEVABLE, just another world. Cannot believe the picture quality and sound. Just like bringing the world into your living room. Extremely easy to set up. It has become the main feature in living area. Just a note: one feature particular to this model - it comes with stands on each side and not the center post.

My finance and I bought this TV and we couldn't be happier. It's the perfect size for our living room and the picture is very clear. The thin framing around the screen makes everything seem so much bigger. We've gotten many complements from friends. I love how there are no buttons visible and the one button technology always gets a lot of positive reactions from our peers!

this is my first experience with a HD TV. I couldn't believe the clarity and beautiful picture. why did I wait so long? Your motion clarity was very clear, and the LED background was the icing on the cake. Ease of use and the features are wonderful. This is quality beyond what I have experienced before. I would highly recommend your products as superior and the cost was less than I expected for this design.

One of the best of three LG TVs I have purchased

The LG #: 47LB5900 was one of the easiest setups and installs I have experienced.
The directions are clearly written and the results, if you follow each step in the order as written, are great. The total setup up time including taking it out of the box and locating the various screws and mounting legs took less than an hour. My set is with DIRECTV.

The picture came up in beautiful sharp, true to life colors.
The customization instructions are easily followed and mostly concern turning on "Dolby" sound and making minor adjustments in the contrast.
Viewing from any angle up to 10 degrees or less is perfect. And it stays that way in any light situation! The set can be watched in a well lighted room if others are trying to read or do homework.
If you want a TV with all the menu adjustments you can ever need, at a GREAT price; you CANNOT go wrong with the LG#: 47LB5900!
